In the northern hemisphere the September equinox marks the start of fall (autumn). The oldest meaning is the day when daytime and night are of approximately equal duration. A number of traditional spring and autumn harvest festivals are celebrated on the date of the equinoxes. I like to ‘celebrate’ with some lovely views from across the globe. Enjoy!
